Pepper Place opens first-ever Tuesday night market | News
BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC)- Birmingham's popular Saturday-morning farmer's market is branching out to a new day and time with tonight's first-ever night market.
The inaugural Tuesday Street Market will be held June 18 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the usual Pepper Place market location, 29th Street and 2nd Avenue South. If you can't make it out to Pepper Place tonight, two more night markets will be held on the third Tuesdays of July and August.
The Tuesday street market will feature food trucks, live music and dancing, according to www.pepperplacemarket.com.
Other Birmingham-area nighttime farmers markets include the West Homewood Farmer's Market, held from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. on August 14, September 19 and October 17, and The Summit Farmer's Market, held every Thursday between May 24 and July 26 from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Pepper Place's normal hours are Saturdays from 7 a.m. until noon from April through December.
